It’s just like my brother and sister in law. They got a dog the last few years, and the poor dog doesn’t know who is in charge. They intuitively grasp the pack social order, and since my sister in law doesn’t want to assert herself, the dog still thinks it’s above her in the pack order and lashes out against her.
