also, the masses will support who they see as the strongest and most capable group. this is basic human nature.
they won't support groups that are weak.
and display weakness.
the masses are motivated primarily by terror!
"but action now does not make you a revolutionist, or a leader, it makes you an extremist, and further separates the cause from the hands of the working class."
LMAO
so just be an armchair intellectual then?
do you care to argue on why that is false?
Since "action" is for extremists?
Stalin was effective at using political weapons.
let me elaborate better. if we act in violence now, to the working class they will only perceive us as extremists who threaten their way of life. Only when they see from our view by experiencing the oppression of the capitalist system will they want to stand with us.
if this is lost to you than I have no better way of helping it.
you should read SIEGE
it talks about tactics for revolution
i think what he is trying to say we should wait till a dark time to start a revolution, like Russia under the Tsar
It was written by a radical Maoist
Named Jason Mason
based
and how exactly would you display yourself as a champion of the masses, Mr. Red? how can the average person perceive you if you just act like weaklings and pacifists?
read this book. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_Guerrilla_Warfare
I never claimed to be a champion of the masses.
I will advocate for revolution when revolution is necessary, until then, I advocate for letting the support grow, let the proletariat discover that they are oppressed, and join the cause.
haha. good luck with that. the average person is embedded heavily into the capitalist machine, swept up by rampant consumerism. they'd rather look at the prices of the new iPhone or watch MTV than care about the so-called bourgeois.
look at them. the masses are only spirited by meaningless distractions like the latest NFL game.
they have been indoctrinated that Communism is bad, knowing nothing of what it truly stands for, but when you speak to working class men, like I have done, calling it by another name sounds just as sweat.
i mean personally i have been able to convince many people to consider marxism just by voice but in the end and this is just my opinion Revolution is necessary
when asking them if they feel the system is against them, if they feel mistreated and that the rich are controlling, they agree.
such as my dearest comrade @Norad would tell you, it is the buzzwords that turn them away, but the concepts are still strong in the hearts of the working class.
the working class are the ones who suffer the first wave of economic burdens, therefore, you are not wrong to pull recruits from them.
however, the middle class live cozy and sheltered lifestyles.
and you cannot draw support from them.
i have been able to get rich and your average joe to change their minds and im no Lenin
in any case, you won't gain widespread popular support until the times are hard.
that is true, but the lower class are growing as the majority.
and the economy is especially bad.
that is the sad truth of all revolution.
or the System collapses.
yeah that will be the most where support will come from
