maybe because the life expectancy of russia went sharply down after the USSR fell

or maybe its because a lot of them died in gulag

so we got evidence that the working conditions in the USSR were fine

and then someone said "but they didn't like stalin" just out of nowhere

so now we're debating whether the soviets like stalin

and here you are complaining about one bad piece of evidence
