@AlaJt Das Kapital isn't a great place to start as you can easily become overwhelmed. It's an intellectual force to be reckoned with, that's for sure. I recommend starting off with some introductory texts.

2018-05-30 00:05:57 UTC

it's a bit boring at first and a decent knowledge of the dialectic is needed going into it

2018-05-30 00:06:18 UTC

@Mitch Mussolini's doctrine of Fascism and Mein Kampf

Fascism is there to save the bourgeoisie when their influence is falling apart by crushing any actual worker movement. 👍

2018-05-30 00:06:23 UTC

hmm

2018-05-30 00:06:26 UTC

Mein Kampf was boring and told me stuff I already knew

2018-05-30 00:06:30 UTC

mind if i dm some le epic pdfs?

2018-05-30 00:06:32 UTC

2018-05-30 00:06:45 UTC

2018-05-30 00:06:46 UTC

Not sure, got it from the library.

2018-05-30 00:06:46 UTC

2018-05-30 00:07:03 UTC

2018-05-30 00:07:08 UTC

i can dm you it

2018-05-30 00:07:10 UTC

@mcstubbs I'm pretty sure it has something like that, introductory to the dialectic.

2018-05-30 00:08:03 UTC

I also have wage-labour and capital and value-price and profit.

2018-05-30 00:08:05 UTC

Marx is wrong when Adam smith agreed with concepts like labour theory of value. Marx is based in material reality smh.

2018-05-30 00:08:16 UTC

yeah, but it's also good to have some other texts, because marx, although he was a good thinker, was an atrocious writer

2018-05-30 00:08:19 UTC

@Mitch Is it even worth to read at this point?

2018-05-30 00:08:24 UTC

yeah

2018-05-30 00:08:29 UTC

you read a bad translation

2018-05-30 00:08:31 UTC

I hate reading books on a computer or virtual platform.

2018-05-30 00:08:33 UTC

the ones in the library are jewd as fuck

2018-05-30 00:08:40 UTC

But tbh, if you don't have a background in Western Philosophy, particularly German Idealism, you should look into secondary literature first before diving into Hegel directly.

2018-05-30 00:08:52 UTC

and very dishonest plus they dont give background on some refrences

2018-05-30 00:08:52 UTC

@🌼Kalina🌹🌸🌹Zay🌹🌸🌹Scott🌼 Haven't got around to finishing Wealth Of Nations

2018-05-30 00:09:01 UTC

2018-05-30 00:10:26 UTC

No I agree with you.

2018-05-30 00:10:31 UTC

@WildRooHuntingTutorials same, but i can't get a lot of books in paper

2018-05-30 00:10:31 UTC

The content of his writings has a well-deserved reputation as dense and formidable, it doesn't help that he wasn't a very good writer. And I say that with love and respect lmao.

2018-05-30 00:10:35 UTC

the ones i want, anyway

Adam Smith is a critic of capitalism but not a socialist because the concept existed after him :-( Though the Adam Smith Institute is a piss taker
