but the organisation itself is still not corrupted

there are of course unrighteous catholics

but there are no righteous non catholics

(except in certain circumstances which are totally irrelevant in the modern world)

for example, st. thomas aquinas (iirc) said aristotle was saved despite the fact he did not believe

mainly because he would've had no opportunity to do so

and he followed the law enscribed in his heart
