other than their monarchy is hella bespoke

They basically are just Islanders that raid for a living and used to rule part of mainland westeros before getting pushed out and have been constantly ruled (and not recognized as a kingdom really) from Kings Landing and they keep trying to rebel

Well they aren't really that ruled

They kind of do their own thing

But they raid on the coast all the time so they start shit

And they used to like have a ton of dominion over the North and Riverlands and they keep trying to take it back
