Do you think Corey stewart would have won?

2018-04-25 18:06:39 UTC

Really not sure. I didn't pay to much attention to politics last year. I've only more recently been getting in to it. I'm a year late when it comes to my state tho <:jeb:422443179887820810>

2018-04-25 18:07:01 UTC

I tried hard to promote it on reddit

2018-04-25 18:07:16 UTC

but obviously not enough

2018-04-25 18:07:24 UTC

Which Subreddit?

2018-04-25 18:07:28 UTC

R/T_D

2018-04-25 18:07:44 UTC

I posted like 2 dozen threads promoting Gillespie

2018-04-25 18:08:10 UTC

What does R/T_D

2018-04-25 18:08:15 UTC

The Donald

2018-04-25 18:08:15 UTC

Mean?

2018-04-25 18:08:20 UTC

Ah

2018-04-25 18:08:24 UTC

Okay

2018-04-25 18:08:28 UTC

I like to think I had some impact

2018-04-25 18:08:33 UTC

One district was an actual draw

2018-04-25 18:08:46 UTC

Hmm 🤔
Could be

2018-04-25 18:08:59 UTC

Maybe someone gave $5 which helped flip it?

2018-04-25 18:09:01 UTC

Who knows?

2018-04-25 18:09:37 UTC

I blame Drew Miller

2018-04-25 18:09:52 UTC

lol yeah

2018-04-25 18:10:41 UTC

A libertarian actually stood in said district that drew

2018-04-25 18:10:47 UTC

675 votes

2018-04-25 18:13:03 UTC

Really?

2018-04-25 18:13:06 UTC

Yep

2018-04-25 18:13:13 UTC

That's kinda rare

2018-04-25 18:14:12 UTC

Virginia House of Delegates, District 94 General Election, 2017
Party Candidate Vote % Votes
Democratic Shelly Simonds 48.59% 11,608
Republican Green check mark transparent.png David Yancey Incumbent 48.59% 11,608
Libertarian Michael Bartley 2.83% 675
Total Votes (Race decided by random drawing) 23,891

2018-04-25 18:14:35 UTC

We could have lost the VA House of Delegates on a draw

2018-04-25 18:18:00 UTC

that's really intriguing

2018-04-25 18:18:11 UTC

🤔 🤔 🤔

2018-04-25 18:18:34 UTC

Lucky we kept it then

2018-04-26 18:58:05 UTC

<@&414591366945832962> so rather than focusing on Important stuff, What do my Virginia dudes think of this new purposed flag design to replace the great seal of Virginia as the state flag

7 pointed star represents the 7 US presidents that were born in Virginia

2018-04-26 19:30:22 UTC

Eh.

2018-04-26 19:39:55 UTC

Better than slapping the seal on a blue background.

2018-04-26 19:40:43 UTC

^^^

2018-04-26 19:53:20 UTC

Virginia's current flag is an SOB. "Seal on a bedsheet" as it's know in vexillology

2018-04-26 20:14:39 UTC

I'm pretty sure VA has had 8 Presidents including WIlson...

2018-04-26 20:23:11 UTC

Nope, seven

2018-04-26 20:23:24 UTC

If it was indeed 8, I can change it

2018-04-26 20:25:34 UTC

Here's an alternate version.
the I represents VA being the first colony
The crown is because VA was named after the Queen
and The blue X represents the southern states (reminiscent of the confederate flag)
