@Winston Did you read that AMA by Patrick Little?
Yes I did.
That was incredible...
I think I want to write him a letter if I can.
You should if you know what you want to say
I just want to tell him to stay in the race, and not give in. I feel people like us are going to be slandered to all oblivion, and when you hear nothing but negativity about yourself it makes you feel like no one supports you.
Just because their voices are louder than ours.
But I want him to know, there are people that support him.
And will back him.
But I'll do all I can to help him
I actually told some friends (whom are more diverse than a Hollywood movie cast) about his plank for Israeli foreign aid funds going to blacks for reperations for slavery and they actually liked it.
I should rephrase that
Of course they liked it lol.
Who doesn't want reparations for something they never suffered the pain of.
One guy a democrat, and admittedly an Arab, liked it as well.
Hmm.
on another note. Do you guys support the Cal3 Movement?
Splitting California into three states?
Yes
This is a good run down
I dunno.
The risks are too great. We have too much to lose in comparison to the original Six Californias proposal.
Probably no because of the Senators
Honestly it's going to just become 6 Democratic senators in time.
This one puts it all in 3 states--one is Democratic and the other 2 are swing states at best.
No it is 2 democrate one republican.
Republican for now
They called the South the Republican one.
Which won't be for long.
They could've extended California northward to include San Francisco.
It has to go through congress to pass. Neither party will vote it through. I am voting for it just for the head lines if it passes to be proposed or just adding one more vote to a failed referendum.
Fair.
You really don't think they'll pass anything?
Yeah
Democrats have muh zero bipartisanship with the trump administration and have already expressed their discontent with the prop. And Republicans think it is simply to risky.
The reason for the former is hilarious, the lefts rich and poor would be separated by state boundaries so their tax redistribution would fail.
So it needs to be approved by the US Congress?
Yes--the only state that does not require congressional authorization to split is Texas, according to the treaty with them.
They can split themselves apart to multiply their Senators since they're a country which once held a tremendous amount of territory.
