Louisiana is like the opposite of NYC.
@Nuke @Deleted User fg. 1
We've got 3 left-wing, black-majority cities.
And the rest of Louisiana is almost 100% Republican.
@Nuke Trump campaigned in NYC? I know he held rallies in Buffalo and other such places
Oh I meant NY as a whole
I actually met Democrats mocking Trump for doing that at all.
Btw, do people in New York actually act like Hillary is from there?
Or do they act like Hillary is from Arkansas, like literally everyone?
the problem is Trump is not really a New Yorker,
what I mean by this,
is he's a _specific_ kind of New Yorker
@Nuke they don't act like Hillary is from here
He's a rich man.
a Staten island-type New Yorker
I mean, a lot of people who live in NYC aren't even from NYC
they're transplants from other parts of the USA
like Hillary
Trump is a "hey, hey, I'm walking here" kind of New Yorker
@🎃Boo-ton🎃 he's a Queens type of New Yorker
an old school Queens type, because the borough is very different now
And yeah he's a dude who sounds like he just idolizes skyscrapers and such
Like Louisiana people who think NYC is awesome
We just like skyscrapers.
@Nuke anyway, quite a few people here don't like Hillary. Many Hillary supporters are just the "hurr fuck drumpf" type you find in any other part of the USA
can Trump appeal to the people in Albany suburbs tho, no, those are soccer moms
Louisiana's Capitol is actually a skyscraper just because so many people here like them and think they're badass.
I think she became Senator of New York through...
-Money
-Winning the Democrat nomination
that's about it
But skyscrapers really have nothing to do with Louisiana, which is kinda why we like them.
We don't think of them as huge office buildings and crap, just cool towers protruding into the atmosphere.
@Nuke really? Lousianans like skyscrapers? Didn't know that
NY state is actually 47% suburban
Yep
@🎃Boo-ton🎃 not surprising, Long Island is pretty vast
and there are large suburban areas just north of NYC
(like the town where Zuckerberg is from)
only 13% Of New York is rural,
so Trump would need a LOT of moderate votes to flip the state
It's not really a political thing, but I think it was kinda like a political thing in the early 20th century. I still see tons of people idolizing Huey P. Long on Twitter who are never from here and don't know what kind of crazy crap he's well known for here, lol.
@🎃Boo-ton🎃 yeah, and Trump can definitely win a lot of moderate voters in 2020
