Good on the President for having this policy rescinded

This puts me in awkward position considering I literally just wrote an article ripping Trump up and down as a conman,
so, in an attempt to be the better man, I want to thank the President for this move.
I still stand by the criticisms in my op-ed, because of the patterns of reverses we've seen.
Also worth pointing out, Trump could've done this on day one of his presidency, so he's likely doing it to appease his base,
but still, thank you Mr. President, continue to actually implement your policies rather than shift responsibility to Congress and suggest you're doing so when you're not

the reason Catch & Release will end is because Jeff Sessions doesn't oppose the move, he supports it

unlike Mattis, who pressured Trump to veto the omnibus bill

It was probably only delayed this wrong because SCOTUS only recently ruled that they lack rights in such situations

In other words they can now be detained without bail without the rights of citizens

I still think Trump did it now because Ann Coulter was putting pressure on him
but I have nothing but praise and gratitude for Trump for doing so

In 2012, Nate Silver had this interactive demographics calculator that showed how much of a particular group each candidate would need to win the election

based on how much of the White Vote Romney won, he would've needed to win 73% of the Hispanic Vote to win, no less
