They're clearly posturing themselves more aggressively. Now it's a matter of whether Trump has an epiphany and stays true to his promises or much more likely, bombs Assad into smithereens.
And then we can have glorious war.
The issue is not if there's a missile attack, because there will be, but if this turns into another Iraq.
Trump has demonstrated time and time again, he does not have the fortitude to stand up for the principles he campaigned on
The scale of the attack is also important as FLanon. It could simply be another single strike warning or a bombing campaign.
However, the media depicted last year's bombing as if it was on an empty airfield. They destroyed 25% of the air force in that attack.
This can incur materially negative consequences on Assad's war effort.
