Morning guys
morning
Good or bad for Gillum? He just alienated a lot of gun owners @FLanon
three new approval polls today
NBC/WSJ 44%, Fox News 44% (46% with LV), Harris 48%
I remember that tweet when it came out
safe to say that late august dip is over
October will probably go well for us, at least I hope it does
@thr33 how do those polls compare to previous ones
nbc and fox have been consistent
harris was down to 45 but it's back up
let me check on fox to be sure. i know nbc was 44 last month
yea looks the same
@Dillpick88 really bad for him from what I've been seeing
Trump's approval numbers seem pretty consistent now. I wish they were better ofc, but I remember Democrats predicting early on that he would just continually slide downwards, ending up at late GWB levels. Seems like that isn't going to happen.
44 to 48 is better than late 30s
How popular was Obama in his second term?
here's the thing about obama
Obama spent 2013 and 2014 roughly where Trump is now, actually
he's about the same as trump if you look at disapprovals, outside of 2009 when he first took office, 2012 right before the election, and 2016 when he was at the end of his term
got a second wind late and finished over 50%
consistently in the 50-55 range
he was a bit higher in approvals though. trump has been (aside form low points) 40-44 in average. obama was 43-47
a lot of that is though that there were republicans who approved of obama
in terms of support in party and with independents, trump is about the same if not a little higher. he just polls at like 5% approval with dems
We're definitely going to need to be over 50 if we want to kill a blue wave in November
but anyhow, what happened in 2016 is those voters who don't approve of trump but don't disapprove broke for him. will they break for gop without him on the ticket?
Guys, I have a theory, and you may call me a conspiracy theorist, but I believe Y2K actually happened and we never noticed it
shut up
Well has anything been good since 2000?
That's not what Y2K is
It was a computer bug
your point?
it's not 1918 my guy
