I don't even live anywhere in this map (I live in the far eastern side)
Do you think we should have separate folders for these topics? If we can make it more about the National Republican Party vs the National Democrat Party will win. The Dems national party is no appealing to most of the country
separate folders?
Like if we push right to try drug treatment it can be pushed in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia etc
it's a bit cumbersome to divide everything by each state
is that what you're getting at ?
What do you exactly mean by 'separate folders' though
You mean separate channels?
Yeah channels. I am very new to discord
the national level can be covered by the 'general' channel
Ok
btw I'm making a new thread at 5pm on the dot
who here is available to give it a bump every 10 minutes
oh shit, let me make that thread
new thread @Nuke @TrippyTurtle @Walter Johnson @🎃Boo-ton🎃
anyone else who is also currently active -- bump the thread every 10 minutes, preferably by having a discussion about anything related to the midterms
I'll only be copying and pasting relevant info if someone mentions a state or candidate
thanks
you don't even have to care about the discussion, just make relevant posts that bump the thread
the problem with just saying 'bump' is that it doesn't generate potential discussion
can someone bump the thread again
guys, if you want to see what a weak Democrat candidate looks like, see this ad
That makes me think of how they keep invoking "The Emperor's New Clothes" when Trump only has plurality support.
@Nuke what exactly do you mean by that
what do you guys think of this ad
you get to see young Dubya and young Jeb
" Wow, 3 future presidents in a video. "
hahahahaha one of the comments
McGovern claims in that ad that people are voting for Nixon because they're "expected" to do so.
Democrats use the "Emperor's new clothes" metaphor to claim they're like some sort of resistance counterculture; in other words, they believe we're all deceiving ourselves, hallucinating because Trump is so amazingly popular, while they see the truth thanks to the MSM.
ah
It's like, Trump isn't even that popular, even if I wish he were.
No one is forcing themselves to hallucinate to think Trump is good.
exactly
Humorously the story also may or may not leave open the possibility that those who aren't deceiving themselves may in fact be deceiving themselves.
