Do you have a list of who they are?

2018-02-15 18:21:19 UTC

Senator Rounds, Senator Isakson, Sen Alexander, Senator Collins, lisa murkowski, Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham, Cory Gardner

2018-02-15 19:10:58 UTC

Flake's seat is the only R on that list going up for reelection this year, and that issue has already been taken care of.

2018-02-15 19:11:42 UTC

Trump'll veto it if it gets passed, I doubt the House'll pass it

2018-02-15 19:14:13 UTC

18 days until DACA (hopefully) dies

2018-02-15 19:32:48 UTC

Yeah, we definitely have to work on that

2018-02-15 19:33:11 UTC

remember,

2018-02-15 19:33:21 UTC

the GOP candidate won UNOPPOSSED last time

2018-02-15 19:43:16 UTC

The incumbent resigned on a scandalous basis, that depresses the party's population, same thing happened in my district in '06.

2018-02-15 21:06:24 UTC

Stabenow explains vote: “I’m just not a supporter of sanctuary cities.” Says “better way to do things”

2018-02-15 21:06:38 UTC

Stabenow could be more vulnerable than we think

2018-02-15 21:09:40 UTC

huh

2018-02-15 21:20:28 UTC

@🎃Boo-ton🎃 you think that will make her vulnerable to progressives not voting for her because of that ?

2018-02-15 21:21:23 UTC

no, i'm suggesting if she were to vote against her own party like that then she must be seeing insider polling that shows her vulnerable against moderates and conservatives

2018-02-15 21:21:56 UTC

insider polling is something only they can see right?

2018-02-15 21:22:24 UTC

ye, it's when they pay for it

2018-02-15 21:23:28 UTC

I wonder if they're even more accurate than the ones we see

2018-02-15 22:39:38 UTC

I wonder if Stabenow is swingable party-wise? Is this her only conservative position?

2018-02-15 22:46:49 UTC

as far as I can tell, yes

2018-02-16 00:13:47 UTC

@FLanon @🎃Boo-ton🎃 are we in agreement that 'based black man' John James is the best candidate for the GOP nomination for senator in Michigan

2018-02-16 00:15:49 UTC

pretty much

2018-02-16 00:15:53 UTC

probably, he has a good rap w/ Detroit business, which could be helpful

2018-02-16 00:16:39 UTC

Stabenow will no doubt win in that area, but making the margins close could be key for a victory

2018-02-16 00:18:04 UTC

The veteran stuff's also helpful

2018-02-16 00:21:32 UTC

He's a fresh face, pretty decently down the line on the issues, vet which is always helpful, a businessman from Detroit, and on the other side you have a tired incumbent who's been elected in the same state for decades. The anti-establishment angle could be helpful, and with the anti-sanctuary position that Stabenow's taking, if we can divide the Dems and make Stabenow look like a "Trump collaborator", MI can be a victory.

2018-02-16 00:25:52 UTC

What's that Pennsylvania seat looking like?

2018-02-16 00:26:05 UTC

tough to know

2018-02-16 00:26:09 UTC

lemme check

2018-02-16 00:27:19 UTC

not much polling on it

2018-02-16 00:28:11 UTC

Lou Barletta is our guy in that race, and with Trump's endorsement of him, he's pretty much guaranteed to win the primaries, we just need to push him for the general election.

2018-02-16 00:29:43 UTC

How do we get people out to vote?

2018-02-16 00:30:03 UTC

On an individual basis, it's a damn big state

2018-02-16 00:31:32 UTC

We can push for the Amish to vote by showing the degeneracy the Dems are pushing

2018-02-16 00:31:59 UTC

I know someone earlier said they can't vote, that's not true, most don't choose to.

2018-02-16 00:32:47 UTC

How can we increase Amish turnout?

2018-02-16 00:33:52 UTC

If you want to work for Barletta's campaign, you can probably rally some of them to vote.

2018-02-16 00:34:18 UTC

Their voter rate is currently about 10-15%, which is small but shows there's room for major potential.

2018-02-16 00:35:03 UTC

There's actually a group committed to getting them to the polls: http://www.amishpac.com/

2018-02-16 00:35:32 UTC

If we can get them to become more of a fixture in PA and OH elections, they'll become irreversible red states.

2018-02-16 00:36:40 UTC

They were mainly active during 2016, but the fact is that we can definitely get the ball rolling if we push more people to vote.
