the sunrise isn’t exactly east from equator

2019-04-21 00:50:12 UTC

the earth is tileted

2019-04-21 00:50:16 UTC

23 degrees

2019-04-21 00:50:26 UTC

so that in itself is technically wrong

2019-04-21 00:50:52 UTC

everyone looking east sees the sunrise

2019-04-21 00:50:57 UTC

lol nevermind

2019-04-21 00:51:20 UTC

you see the sunrise but not directly at the sun

2019-04-21 00:51:22 UTC

true

2019-04-21 00:51:30 UTC

what do u mean not directly at the sun

2019-04-21 00:51:50 UTC

u look east u see the sun rising

2019-04-21 00:51:55 UTC

wow nevermind

2019-04-21 00:52:17 UTC

just forget it cause i cant get why its so hard to understand so maybe its just me

2019-04-21 00:52:48 UTC

maybe.0

2019-04-21 00:52:55 UTC

sorry i’m not getting your logic

2019-04-21 00:53:05 UTC

or you mine

2019-04-21 00:53:30 UTC

its just what happens the sun rises at teh equator on the equinox u are looking east the sun is east

2019-04-21 00:53:48 UTC

ur looking east at the equator

2019-04-21 00:54:02 UTC

I liked the shooting example, where rifles are aimed at the sun, one in the north, one at the equator, one in the south, they all shoot at the sun.

2019-04-21 00:54:30 UTC

Since the sun is rising east for each of them, they are all parallel

2019-04-21 00:54:40 UTC

brb

2019-04-21 00:54:47 UTC

well

2019-04-21 00:54:49 UTC

actually

2019-04-21 00:54:59 UTC

where north?

2019-04-21 00:55:03 UTC

the north pole

2019-04-21 00:55:06 UTC

?

2019-04-21 00:55:32 UTC

It appears the sun is in different places at once in that scenario. Or it is just so far according to the model that the lines are very near parallel.

2019-04-21 00:55:47 UTC

But meet in millions of miles

2019-04-21 00:56:21 UTC

i feel like if u do this on google earth and draw lines all the lines lead to the equator

2019-04-21 00:56:26 UTC

ive seen it done

2019-04-21 00:56:38 UTC

so

2019-04-21 00:56:55 UTC

do u want me to find the video of someone doing this on google earth ?

2019-04-21 00:56:58 UTC

But the sun is supposedly 93 million miles out, so it would be far out away from earth

2019-04-21 00:57:08 UTC

Not just right above the equator

2019-04-21 00:57:19 UTC

do it in google earth ill brb

2019-04-21 00:57:35 UTC

There was a video on this

2019-04-21 00:57:42 UTC

I'll look for it

2019-04-21 01:01:36 UTC

This illustrates it well;

2019-04-21 01:31:10 UTC

either way that didnt make a proof for flat or globe earth i was just wondering idk im hearing different things about it

2019-04-21 01:33:40 UTC

It makes more sense on a Globe, but I guess we don't really know how the skies all work, it depends on numerous assumptions.

2019-04-21 01:35:19 UTC

wanna talk about the south pole and north pole being opposite climataes

2019-04-21 01:35:50 UTC

even though the south pole during its summer the sun is 3 million miles closer to earth
