No we don't, it appears like a flat floor that we are viewing at angle because of our height above the ground.

@jeremy You don't see the horizon moving because your eyes are garbage. The horizon getting lower is irrelevant whether the earth is spherical or flat, because the horizon will *always* be either *at* your eye level or *below* your eye level.
