they put it in the same type of environment but with one type of rice they thought good thoughts on it

and the other rice they thought only bad thoughts directed at the rice

then they compared how well the rice faired

the bad rice got bad quickly and did not fair well

the good rice was better off, didn't go bad as quickly

I think its a valid test

and can be done by almost anyone

they also tested it with plants
