What is the picture saying. I dont know. I just found it funny lol

2018-09-29 13:56:56 UTC

@Citizen Z lol no, go use a pair of binoculars if u want too u cannot see it

2018-09-29 13:57:19 UTC

The atmosphere needs to be clear day

2018-09-29 13:57:53 UTC

Not clear, it needs to have different currents with diff temperature

2018-09-29 13:58:13 UTC

Maybe I am

2018-09-29 13:58:20 UTC

Stop lying

2018-09-29 13:58:27 UTC

The picture is saying that they are all friends, reinforcing the deep state conspiracy. But they aren't lol Merkel was 18 and the other two would have been 10 years old. It's not of them

2018-09-29 13:58:36 UTC

🤔

2018-09-29 13:58:36 UTC

See there are very few pictures like that

2018-09-29 13:58:46 UTC

And that's because it's a rare phenomenon

2018-09-29 13:58:55 UTC

One too many

2018-09-29 13:59:06 UTC

Its not rare. Ppl see it

2018-09-29 13:59:42 UTC

eh

2018-09-29 14:00:09 UTC

Plenty of FE evidence

2018-09-29 14:00:29 UTC

Open your eyes and start being skeptical of the globe

2018-09-29 14:00:38 UTC

It wont hurt you

2018-09-29 14:02:53 UTC

Dude

2018-09-29 14:03:20 UTC

There are a lot of pictures in which u don't see the bottom part of the buildings

2018-09-29 14:03:33 UTC

Suggesting there's a curve

2018-09-29 14:04:01 UTC

But when these pics were taken there were no air currents with diff temperatures

Dont see bottom part of buildings cuz of the effect of the law of perspective

2018-09-29 14:08:28 UTC

Sinking Ship Effect:

The horizon on a flat plane is a consequence of the plane meeting the observer’s line of sight at less than a minute of a degree. The ground is not visible beyond that point, because the angle of view is too shallow. However, the angle of a line straight through the mast and top of the boat form a broader angle and so can be seen while the ground is not visible, so the boat disappears below the horizon bottom first. Eventually, the angle becomes too shallow to resolve the entire boat, when the top of the boat makes an angle with the plane at less than a minute of a degree.

It is verifiable that increasing resolution actually can restore the hulls of ships again, demonstrating that it is not the curve of the Earth that is obscuring the hull, but rather the resolution limits of optics. The law of perspective dictates that objects distant on a plane will appear to disappear bottom first, due to the increasingly shallow angle at farther distances with higher points.

An example of this observation can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFhhCYYkILw
You can see the bottom of the ship appear to melt into the horizon as if it is being diffracted and not clearly resolved.
This makes another flat earth justification, and also explains why objects appear to be obscured by the horizon. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/458194824911126541/458284527308111882/ship-2.jpg

Are you really claiming Newton's third law to be alie

2018-09-29 14:15:41 UTC

Damn I'll check it out when I reach home

2018-09-29 14:16:26 UTC

no, he doesnt understand it baller

2018-09-29 14:18:22 UTC

We on the thrusters in a vaccum thing again

2018-09-29 14:18:43 UTC

apparently

2018-09-29 14:19:59 UTC

Also the ship drawing is bs

2018-09-29 14:19:59 UTC

Honestly I don't care how much it looks like the Earth is flat because I'm going to need a *lot* of evidence to abandon my main man Einstein. It just seems far too many flat earthers easily dismiss his work without too much thought and focus on the globe. I guess I look a this whole thing backwards to most folds.

2018-09-29 14:20:11 UTC

Why is the water level rising in the pic

2018-09-29 14:20:36 UTC

@Derpy Panda oh it's because they dont get complicated science

2018-09-29 14:21:14 UTC

Maybe. Although to be fair most people that defend the globe don't understand it worth a damn either. :-p

2018-09-29 14:21:26 UTC

Yeah tru

2018-09-29 14:21:34 UTC

But u don't need to understand Einstein

2018-09-29 14:23:33 UTC

I'm not claiming to get the math for relativity neither (...yet)

2018-09-29 14:28:42 UTC

You don't need to understand it to live your life really. But like honestly when people say "gravity doesn't exist" I get the impression that they don't know even 1% of the implications of that. Like honestly I'm not super attached to the globe but I'd have so many question I'd need answers to before I'd accept relativity and all that quantum nonsense aren't accurate. Because that would be probably the luckiest guess in the history of our planet, you know?
