Its basically a giant dome like structure that covers flat earth, and stops anyone from going too far south
its one of the reasons why you can't circumnavigate flat earth going north to south, beyond the fact that its flat so going south doesn't lead back to north.
What about southern stars? Using a telescope, you can see that the Southern Celestial Pole never moves. And this same point in the sky is seen by all people in the southern hemisphere. But on the FE "model", "south" is in all different directions. Explain?
