Sinking Ship Effect:
The horizon on a flat plane is a consequence of the plane meeting the observer’s line of sight at less than a minute of a degree. The ground is not visible beyond that point, because the angle of view is too shallow. However, the angle of a line straight through the mast and top of the boat form a broader angle and so can be seen while the ground is not visible, so the boat disappears below the horizon bottom first. Eventually, the angle becomes too shallow to resolve the entire boat, when the top of the boat makes an angle with the plane at less than a minute of a degree.
It is verifiable that increasing resolution actually can restore the hulls of ships again, demonstrating that it is not the curve of the Earth that is obscuring the hull, but rather the resolution limits of optics. The law of perspective dictates that objects distant on a plane will appear to disappear bottom first, due to the increasingly shallow angle at farther distances with higher points.
An example of this observation can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFhhCYYkILw
You can see the bottom of the ship appear to melt into the horizon as if it is being diffracted and not clearly resolved.
This makes another flat earth justification, and also explains why objects appear to be obscured by the horizon. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/458194824911126541/458284527308111882/ship-2.jpg

yea
still 1 hour behind me, for them it's like 03:41AM
I woke up at around like 1 AM, since the second I got home, took a shower, ate something and then literally fell asleep

you need a cupcake
I'm so horrible in the kitchen, like need to get myself a housewife...I can only cook pasta, soup and just the basics
i suggest not baking then
good thing i'm lucky enough to have something going on for now, so hopefully 2019 will be a good year for me
👍
yeah, i am looking forward to 2019
Yeah, just another year to go through...it's literally just a +1 into my age, I guess not a lot will change
although I always say that, but I end up looking back
nah, a new year, new things to experience
yeah
It might feel unlikely as of now, but in one year from now, we will see all the new things we've experienced, etc.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzF3STBWHt4 according to this video, Star Wars is dead
i enjoyed the last jedi
this guy is comparing star wars 4 billion dollar bet to bill cosby level of bad
what? Disney did amazing on that deal
business perspective says he doesn't see them getting another 2 billion from a movie
o no
now he's talking about hippos and saying that a slow hippo isn't going to get thru some barrier
its not going fast enough
apology - a star wars story
his point of that people don't care what happens to these characters anymore is valid, we don't care. I don't plan to see this next movie.
i see star wars for the settings, i dont really care about most of the characters in star wars
fans who saw last jedi are pissed
i am not, i enjoyed it
according to this guy, general public thinks these are bad movies
general public checked out
and Holdo's death, holy fuck that scene was beautiful
hardcore fans -> going to skip this next movie
normal fans -> luke warm
i probably a more hardcore fan then most,
I'm a diehard star wars fan and last Jedi is my second favourite of the films
