Analogues are pretty cool @The Enlightened Shepherd and can do things software can't do and vice versa

Haven't personally used any modular equipment but have a couple of vintage analogues

I wish you could go to the synth expo @Kalvin . We'd have a blast

Probably much more enjoyable with company than being autistic moving keyboard to keyboard looking for cool sounds

I remember the first synth I got, just sitting there in the shop with it, headphones and being totally glued to this machine

@Death Strike's Bat I have a friend down here that repairs synths and so gets to try out lots of neat stuff. Sometimes gets free studio time in return for his services. He's messed around on Moog modular, Buchla etc

even though he's not in tangerine dream anymore of course

Klaus Schulze used Fricke's old Moog on Moondawn

And Fricke previously made a guest appearance at the beginning of TD's "Zeit" album (this was after Schulze left and started recording his own material)

To be fair, he wasn't really a member of the group when they were in their prime, just did drumming on their experimental first album
