I entertained flat earth ideas for awhile as a thought experiment. I can see someone believing it wholeheartedly. I don't see any reason to debate it, because empirical evidence one way or the other is hard to come by, and also I see no real harm in believing earth is flat. Especially since I believe they're ultimately wrong.
Supposedly the centrifugal force from the rotation of the earth causes a bulge. Therefore, the globe earth model is not actually a perfect sphere.

Are you saying that gravity is powerful enough to prevent everything from pulling away from the earth? Doubtful. Your model suggests a speed of 1000 mph at the equator.
But there would be very little centrifugal force at the poles. Please explain why we don’t feel more gravity at the poles?
If gravity truly exists, and keeps us from flying off the earth...gravitation would feel different at different points on the globe.

Engineers still use even rough constants for force of gravity, such as just simply 9.8m/s^2 , and get things done. So even though gravity is "just" a theory, it is a working one.
