I think that's pretty silly, on its face

jobs can be jail and that can still be wrong

jobs are jail, but work is not

obligations are jail

there's everything right about being a family man obviously, but when your life is controlled by an employer and your very livelihood is in thrall to it, then there exists a control mechanism

there is freedom in the yoke, you serve your family and free yourself

human beings, as well as all creatures, desire freedom naturally

whereas if you attempt a different kind of "freedom", an absolute one

escape your obligations

you instead fall under a different yoke, of your ego etc.

obligations =/= working a dead end job thinking you're doing good for the wold

they desire freedom, accepted, but what is freedom

I think it's pretty obvious that most people don't work thinking about the big picture
