no problem fallot
decisions, perceptions
my goal is to be a judge
whereas perceiving is being happy with just lettin it all flow man
My goal is to be a welder
INTJ have as their auxiliary function extraverted thinking
And get a boat
which is probably the strongest "judging" function in terms of perception
But im stuck in sales for a bit
I hate letting it all flow
the most "this, not that"
Fallot, what's the perfect personality type for a Jim Jones character?
unless the flow is part of the plan. There can be pre-schedule flow periods
a what?
Jim Jones has a cult that drank coolaid and like 300 people died
yeah but character?
like a charismatic lcult guy
cult leader?
a couple
ENTJ I guess
how does the jungian personality type stuff square with the big 5 traits
it has some correspondence
but big 5 is pretty worthless
its worth is entirely material
in its reproducibility
it doesn't tell you anything beyond the sum of its parts
some people have tried a synthesis or creating a new system
because MBTI retests so badly
but that doesn't mean MBTI is wrong, it means that testing is shit
which it just is
while some percentages here or there doesnt affect the broad big 5 picture
it can alter your type
so where is something like "neuroticism" in MBTI? Would it just be a different sphere?
neuroticism would be explained as a number of different traits producing a similar looking result
this is based on a theory of cognitive functions, MBTI
there is a correlation between NTs and neuroticism I believe
but there's not a universally accepted conversion formula where someone highly neurotic is predictably this combo or that combo in MBTI terms?
no
one bunch of people tried a synthesis of neuroticism
by adding a letter to MBTI
