Cryptopsy didn't hold up with me over the years

Used to like them a lot when I was a teenager

I've played some of their songs live

I was in a death metal band, and we mainly just dicked around

We had like 7 songs

But would do like 3 or so covers each show

We did Destruction - Curse the Gods without ever practicing it

I winged it on bass

The crowd didn't notice that I didn't know the song

Nester made me reappraise them recently

They're good, but I don't see myself revisiting them again

I learned phobophile on bass

They're great.

phobophile is everyone's favorite.

there's way more to this band

Which sucks.

and it certainly isnt my fav

As it partially blinds you from the other excellent tracks

I think people just think the name is clever

Lichmistress used to be my favorite track

It's absolutely mad

Incredibly intense

Now I don't have a favorite

Several tracks I love equally
