so I will be taking about 1/3 of the profits out of the business after like the first few months and putting it in a trust invested my way (almost foolproof)

2017-08-03 00:24:27 UTC

but what that means is it doesn't need to even be super consistent, it just needs to make bank sooner rather than later (although consistency is the goal)

2017-08-03 00:24:28 UTC

I just mean like cash flow sustainable on the short-med term

2017-08-03 00:24:47 UTC

so essentially I would just transfer the money into a different vehicle to generate indefinite, secure cash flow

2017-08-03 00:24:48 UTC
2017-08-03 00:25:40 UTC

what did I just join

2017-08-03 00:29:23 UTC

That's essentially what I'm planning to do but I won't quit my day job unless I start making comparable consistently

2017-08-03 00:29:43 UTC

or I become the next 50 Shades of Gray lady

2017-08-03 00:30:06 UTC

but whatever I do make is just going right into long term investments

2017-08-03 00:58:57 UTC

DEAD CHICKS ARE HOT

2017-08-03 00:59:43 UTC

cold I would think

2017-08-03 01:23:48 UTC

I plotted an entire novel today.

2017-08-03 01:24:02 UTC

I'm going to see how fast I can write a novel of roughly 100k words

2017-08-03 01:24:08 UTC

what's the gist

2017-08-03 01:24:13 UTC

written before?

2017-08-03 01:25:33 UTC

Yes, but never as extensively or as committed as now. I have a decent body of unpublished stuff, but all short stories and novellas, all rough.

2017-08-03 01:25:59 UTC

I wrote one novel but it is very rough . this will be a much better and more complete project

2017-08-03 01:26:43 UTC

but I also write for a living so the writing isn't the problem it's more the learning how to structure a story competently

2017-08-03 01:27:44 UTC

the gist of this one is basically a fantasy setting government intrigue novel

2017-08-03 01:28:46 UTC

cool

2017-08-03 01:29:31 UTC

what do you like to read @UOC

2017-08-03 01:30:10 UTC

fantasy, classics , and nonfiction

2017-08-03 01:30:39 UTC

nonfiction including religious stuff

2017-08-03 01:32:46 UTC

what in fantasy

2017-08-03 01:34:57 UTC

get this @UOC and read the two short story collections: http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?p=3597768

2017-08-03 01:35:03 UTC

formerly, epic fantasy. NOW, strictly the more literary stuff. Le Guin, Wolfe, Mervyn Peake, David Lindsay, ER Eddison, etc

2017-08-03 01:35:05 UTC

Seed of Evil and Knights of the Limits

2017-08-03 01:35:34 UTC

I've grown to dislike Le Guin

2017-08-03 01:35:57 UTC

she's not bad, but there's a certain undercurrent in her stories

2017-08-03 01:36:06 UTC

I just take it with a grain of salt. Hare to let my politics ruin a well told story

2017-08-03 01:36:09 UTC

that with her recent shitlibbery has become distasteful

2017-08-03 01:36:11 UTC

hate*

2017-08-03 01:36:26 UTC

yeah, that's fair

2017-08-03 01:36:50 UTC

Like how the white man for no reason goes crazy to justify killing him in World for World is Forest

2017-08-03 01:36:55 UTC

I strongly recommend the short story collections I mentioned above

2017-08-03 01:37:03 UTC

I'll grab it for sure

2017-08-03 01:37:04 UTC

@UOC I RECOMMEND PLOTTING

2017-08-03 01:37:08 UTC

I love short stories

2017-08-03 01:37:09 UTC

THE WRITING ITSELF IS NOT HARD

2017-08-03 01:37:09 UTC

imagination and consciousness expanding stuff

2017-08-03 01:37:21 UTC

BUT AFTER YOUR 1-5K WORDS A DAY EDITING NEEDS INCREASE
