BUT, GOOD COMPOSITIONS
EVEN THE FIRST ONE IS AMBITIOUS
IT CONVERTED ME
FIRST IMMORTAL, SECOND DARKTHRONE, EMPEROR/ENSLAVED EP
BURZUM CAME SLIGHTLY LATER
only blizzard beasts is pasted guitar wise
each track is a diferent studio session
very obvious
it's hte nly one that's in time
I've ended up liking Wrath of the Tyrant more than In the Nightside Eclipse
IT HAS ITS BEAUTIES
HARD TO DISLIKE ANYTHING UP TO AND INCLUDING ITNE
the great thing about blizzard beasts, is it's one rhythm guitarist playing poly rhythmically
the emphasized notes are in a completely different time sig
and "beat"
IT IS A COOL EFFECT
I LOVED BLASTING THAT ALBUM
where he does the iron maiden gallop (two sixtennth and an eigth note) inside the morbid angel triplets in 3 based time sigs
one day I hope they invent a machine that allows one to listen to music as if perceiving from someone else's consciousness
then I'll hunt down Maarat
maybe I'll kill him after, or myself
depending on result
the problem is blizzard beasts and then godless arrogance
is the end of black metal
in that direction of heaviness
then the swedish side of necrophobic -> sacramentum -> dawn pretty has something simlar in fourth monarchy which is more tonal and weirder
and has the greek bm influences but uses actual byzantine long form melodies that rotting christ and varathron did not
@fallot OR YOU WILL FALL DEEPLY IN LOVE
I already love him
@Death Strike's Bat THE DEATH METAL SIDE WAS COMPLETE WITH THAT
ELBOW GLOVES AND ROSES
@diversity_is_racism will you ever listen to Ananku again
what do you guys think about 1 vs Multiple character POVs in novels
no preference
multiple POVs scare me. Seems hard to juggle well.
By multiple POVs, do you mean an omniscient narrator or changing individual POV throughout the novel
omniscient narrator would be a distinct category to me but I think also a valid question
Ok so you mean the latter
That sounds confusing and unnecessary
changing individual POVs
