@ҜҜҜỮØŘŦĦØŇ their repentance is preferable
you've got to offer people something better than leftism
that's a big problem with alt-right
many of them, especially the "little guys" have the same basic assumptions as leftists
they just start to notice or care about something particularly
but they tend to still miss the big picture because they still see things the same ways as leftists
first they become libertarians
then they become racially conscious libertarians
then development stops
too many fundamental assumptions go unquestioned
its not even about individually changing your point of view about something
but a whole different "colour" to thinking etc.
even race consciousness is limited to defending whiteness as one of many equal racial groups
if one thinks back to the past (not that this is foolproof)
has race consciousness ever been a significant motivational factor for a society?
i.e. a lasting one
not just for some revolution, but an actual society
well, recently that has gone by the wayside, especially with regard to whites
a people is made up of two things
so not race, and not culture, but (my own term) ethnoculture
genetics, and culture-format, which imo, are interlinked
sure yeah
the latter tends to trump the former though
to a degree, yes
right but the libertarian alt-rightists you are describing remain limited from actually engaging with an ethnoculture
they are interlinked as a matter of course, to even question a link is in a sense a leftist assumption
everything is meaningful
I guess my use of leftist just means atheist or materialist
that's basically what I'm getting at
a materialist intellectual / moral foundation remains
even for well meaning ones yeah
even for ones who start to adhere to some religion, this mentality can remain behind the scenes
and so a rejection of a political leftism diverts into a flaccid dead end libertarianism reflective of the abandoned leftism
yeah the number one result is apathy
inability to notice something is wrong with a situation
"what's the big deal about trannies pissing in some bathrooms?"
no idea
the bathroom wars, are, imo, pointlessly finicky
from what you said about LGBT I think you've probably got a similar attitude
