you know I was lucky, I made some acquaintances in the funeral industry
I got to learn about the size and work capacity of these industrial cremation ovens
the people at the time did not have any clue I was asking because I was trying to disprove the holocaust
the girl just honestly answered about how long it takes to cremate a body and how full you can stuff the oven
I forgot the exact number and capacity but I remember that for Auschwitz to function at the level of killing asserted by historians, it would've needed something absurd like 16 times as many ovens
also, the alleged process was highly inefficient
kill jews downstairs with gas (because???), wait hours for the gas to dissipate, then have men carry the corpses up a narrow flight of stairs by hand
the whole process seems to have no trace of classic german efficiency and engineering
gas chambers are the #1 stupid thing about the holocaust to me
though I haven't looked into it

I am digging through pubmed, why is it I cannot find any studies actually _establishing_ the link between consuming any kind of dietary fat vs having any kind of change in lipid profile?
these modern research databases are great for finding last week's highly promoted research and terrible for auditing foundational stuff people take for granted

I found one interesting paper that was fairly recent that pretty clearly showed that the numbers in medical school we are taught to look for as being cardiovascular disease risk is outright wrong
the only numbers that actually mattered were HDL and triglycerides, not HDL/LDL
