The Amazing Atheist is no longer relevant, and he doesn't realize this. Most of his videos barely break 100k views, despite his over 1 million subscriber base. His heyday was back in the late Bush/early Obama years when the neoconservative paradigm was in its death throes and when creationism and evangelical Christians still were intellectual opponents. After his banana fiasco he jumped the shark. What boggles my mind is that people think he is still worthy of being listened to. The dude is an uneducated high school dropout (and proud of it) who thinks that saying "fuck" constantly and listening to Marilyn Manson makes you edgy and cool. He's what atheism represented to most people in the mid-2000s. His 15 minutes of fame are long gone, and he refuses to accept it because it would also mean giving up on his only source of livelihood, his YouTube career and actually getting a fucking job. The guy is a waste of a life.
