oh
first time i got labeled as troll in 2 year of discord
they are not a philosophical viewpoint
<:PepoThump:304041657274204170>
i am learning
for example, egoism is arguably the most representative philosophy associated with individualism.
oh ok
so it's juist philosophical, thought it gets intertwined
Egoism being the belief that to do 'good' is to benefit one's self to the greatest possible degree.
was going to chat about genetic. Why I posted about breeds of dogs
Egoism is faggy
unironic egoism is ok
i mean ironic*
Utilitarianism - the belief that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few - is the best philosophy to associate with collectivism.
well
I believe that is true
the reason the communist ask for economic collectivism most of the time is because they think it would provide of their individual sake
so collectivism has been BTFOd throughout history and rhetoric
why do we still have these discussions
Don't mind the debate formate. Give people that wouldn't normally chat a chance to talk, but its not very free flowing
@Chewbacado We chose it because there are some conservatives who favor having some state involvement in the economy
they can leave
most communist are culturally individualist in modern time
they just envy the wealty
We figured it would a good enough topic for the server
cultural individualism is just a tool to dissolve the host nation's stability
And we were right, because we've debated the topic for over an hour now
@WingALingDragon some people do not make anything themselves though. I.e. richman inherits from his dad, who inherited from his dad, who inherited form his dad
cultural individualist are the most supporters of welfare
muh ebil rich inheritence
because they want the state to take care of themselves
>puppo gets called out
Any group orientated towards a goal would have a minority of highly industrialist people doing the majority of work.
<:MonkaGiga:362975800146001921>
that's true
no i'm just curious
boring. debate night is not for me
oh okay
People like to say "muh ebil inheritence" but they ignore the context behind families becoming wealthy and how wealth accumulates or bleeds in a family
