if the government was limited by taxes, we wouldn't have had the iraq war

governments spend more than they take in taxes

and politicians base their decisions on the money they receive in lobbying

if a business acted the way governments do, it would've been sued into bankrupty, and boycotted

if you want a prison system that only imprisons people who initiate force or violate property crimes

violent criminals and thieves

you have that with full privatization

meaning, throughout the entire system

police, judges, courts, prisons

if people were sent a bill for what laws they wanted to enforce

i think people would mostly want to enforce laws against violent crimes

and would be less inclined to pay for the imprisonment of non-violent people if they could save the money instead

and if people thought particular judges and cops were corrupt, they could boycott them

they would likely just be fired, or change their behavior

otherwise, they would just not get paid

when people are taxed, the government can be as corrupt as it wants

and what will you do about it
