Do you guys boil the noodles after water is boiling or do you pour it in right away with the water fresh from the tap
hot dogs are a staple.
@Codegeekman add salt and get that water boiling, add pasta and stir for first minute.
s’what i do, anyway
Salt? Wut
What's the salt for
I get for normal pasta but Mac n cheese?
Salting the water adds flavor. Yup, even that. A pinch or two.
for the sake of...
Salt helps the water boil faster
It does add a touch of taste to the noodles
you put salt into pasta water for taste
I know
I do when I'm making Alfredo or spaghetti
You can add salt to a lot of things to give it more taste
bam says it doesn't
do you cook @bam
😏
wait
I said it does
I have autism today
Add salt to cookies?
Maybe not cookies
List god tier food combos
I don't bake
Although, if it floats your boat then
Mac n cheese and hotdogs
I cook gourmet food
Grilled cheese tomato soup
tuck a pinch of salt under your scrotum for flavor
If that's what you're into then yeah
Just a pinch
a little salt in sweet baked goods enhances the savory flavors.
I meant in the cookies, not the other thing
Chip ahoy does that
And it works
yes. A cookie recipe i have calls for a half a teaspoon, if i remember
For beef hotdogs
Grill or boil
I always parboil
