ive only played it on bnet and getting 99 / pvp / collecting gear was the main goal
most people never got all the gear to drop in the game even after 10+ years

ethernal weapons were in the lod expansion
never liked the expansion because it focused too much on uniques (what other games now call legendaries) with set stats instead of rare items with random stats
