get afterburner even tho you cant change evga lights on it

2018-03-19 12:39:19 UTC

Yo @Polygon it isn't worth wasting your time with that guy. He's a fucking brainlet that lives in his own little fallacy.

2018-03-19 13:38:27 UTC

u rite

2018-03-19 13:39:52 UTC

It seems like it's still doing it, intermittently.

2018-03-19 13:47:01 UTC

ah wait, it's good now

2018-03-19 13:47:08 UTC

we'll see

2018-03-19 13:47:18 UTC

The only thing he said right is that Afterburner>Precision X. I've used Afterburner for like 2 years, then went to precision X for 2 years. I use afterburner again now and it's set up waayyy better.

2018-03-19 13:47:57 UTC

I legitimately believe that it's due to the change in compression algorithm

2018-03-19 13:50:02 UTC

The video thing? I don't think they changed the codec, and the algorithm really wouldn't do much with that lol. Even RAW video and highly compressed mkv/mp4 from my experience doesn't cause noticeable stress on GPU.

2018-03-19 13:50:16 UTC

Maybe just

2018-03-19 13:50:19 UTC

Trash GPU

2018-03-19 14:02:07 UTC

the 980 works well, it just recently started doing this last night

2018-03-19 14:09:47 UTC

You are getting 60% usage from chrome on your 980? @Polygon

2018-03-19 14:09:56 UTC

I thought you meant your laptop.

2018-03-19 14:28:01 UTC

no, my desktop 980 is doing this

2018-03-19 14:28:07 UTC

it's really strange

2018-03-19 14:28:30 UTC

I checked the drivers, it's all good

2018-03-19 14:51:12 UTC

2 welfare recipients reaffirming each others poor financial decisions <:PepeChill:378748692741750794>

2018-03-19 15:17:50 UTC

Welfare recipients? Good one.

2018-03-19 15:18:41 UTC

Although I don't think a GTX 1070 and Acer XB271HU makes me a welfare recipient, more like the 95th percentile xd

2018-03-19 15:23:33 UTC

makes no sense, we're trying to fix a problem

2018-03-19 15:26:40 UTC

I'm also not sure how a welfare recipient could own his own business at 18

2018-03-19 15:30:05 UTC

Lol

2018-03-19 15:35:57 UTC

it takes a truly big brain to pair a video card that cant run anything at 1440p past 80fps with a 144hz monitor <:PepeChill:378748692741750794>

2018-03-19 15:35:59 UTC

>owning an "Acer"

2018-03-19 15:36:01 UTC

get out now

2018-03-19 15:36:52 UTC

>owns his own business
>uses chromebook and pleb tier vidya card from 2015

2018-03-19 15:36:54 UTC

<:PepeChill:378748692741750794>

2018-03-19 15:36:59 UTC

>buying computers at walmart
get out now

2018-03-19 15:56:57 UTC

so I'm the financially irresponsible one, but you're out here buying new GPUs to be fashionable.

2018-03-19 15:59:30 UTC

your bait is low tier

2018-03-19 17:01:28 UTC

>buying a GPU during the reign of the eternal mining virgin

2018-03-19 17:03:03 UTC

I bought mine right as it all started :^)

2018-03-19 17:44:57 UTC

okay so XOC won't save my memory clock, I think this is it, I think I'm officially done with it

2018-03-19 17:52:23 UTC

okay afterburner looks so much better @Wayne

2018-03-19 17:56:41 UTC

and it still doesn't do it in afterburner

2018-03-19 17:56:43 UTC

what the fuck

2018-03-19 17:56:51 UTC

I think my driver might've gotten fucked

2018-03-19 18:48:23 UTC

Why are you even overclocking memory? @Polygon

2018-03-19 18:48:30 UTC

are you mining

2018-03-19 18:49:53 UTC

Also virgin mad dog and don't ping me, don't even know what they're talking about. The only existent monitors specced like mine were the Acer and Asus models, so there wasn't any other option and the Asus had worse quality control.
