note that the Wannsee Conference was only in January 1942

2018-10-10 20:58:08 UTC

I still don't see how 6 million Jews were killed when the totals before and after do not add up. *Shrugs*

2018-10-10 21:01:12 UTC

the death tolls are all estimates, and depending on which pre-war and post-war estimates you get you'll get a different number

2018-10-10 21:01:25 UTC

usually between 5-6 million

2018-10-10 21:01:47 UTC

if you use the ones on this website you get a european jewish population decline of 5.7 million

2018-10-10 21:02:04 UTC

between 1939 and 1945

2018-10-10 21:02:53 UTC

Korherr talks about Jewish emigration in this report

2018-10-10 21:03:08 UTC

before 1941 when it was forbidden

2018-10-10 21:03:47 UTC

well he talks about it until 1943 but says that it "ceased almost completely" in 1941 when it was prohibited

2018-10-10 21:04:28 UTC

Those numbers are based off a Jew's estimates, not census reports.

2018-10-10 21:05:00 UTC

and they're lower still than the German's own estimates

2018-10-10 21:05:02 UTC

I'm trying to find the sources now

2018-10-10 21:05:20 UTC

I showed other estimate reports. I don't see how you're refuting them kek.

2018-10-10 21:05:47 UTC

that estimate is quite a bit lower than others

2018-10-10 21:06:16 UTC

and also for an earlier year than others

So you're telling me a historically low birthrate group magically shat out millions of babies in the 4 year difference? @agag

2018-10-10 21:21:18 UTC

Linfield's estimate of 15.0 million Jews worldwide is much lower than other estimates because of how much earlier it is

2018-10-10 21:21:39 UTC

1939 estimate from the American Jewish Yearbook is 16.1 million

2018-10-10 21:22:02 UTC

jewish virtual library gives 16.7 million

2018-10-10 21:22:25 UTC

"On the basis of the latest available authoritative sources, the total number of Jews in the world is here estimated at 16,180,000"

2018-10-10 21:24:18 UTC

this is another one that's even higher

2018-10-10 21:34:27 UTC

@agag You see how only the Jewish sources are the one putting those figures that high?

2018-10-10 21:34:34 UTC

Can you not connect the two dots?

the document you link is from the same publication

2018-10-10 21:35:19 UTC

it is as Jewish a source

2018-10-10 21:35:24 UTC

look at the urls

2018-10-10 21:36:11 UTC

harry s linfield was a rabbi

2018-10-10 21:38:14 UTC

in fact the least kosher source sofar has been the one from the Nazis

2018-10-10 21:38:15 UTC

which is even higher

2018-10-10 21:44:01 UTC

Let's make the assumption then of the higher number. You're telling me that a reduction of 16 something million to 11 something million between an extended period of war lasting 7 years and persecution of 13 years resulted in less than the total loss of the supposed 6 million? Let's take the low ball number then. Say 5 million were explicitly killed by the Germans. This leaves no room for 1. suicides 2. sickness 3. war fatalities 5. natural causes 6. crime or any other factors in any other nations of a historically low birthrate group to have net lose. @agag

2018-10-10 21:45:16 UTC

Tens of millions of people died, and you're telling me that these deaths have no bearing on the pre and post war estimates of the Jewish population worldwide, let alone Europe?

2018-10-10 21:49:01 UTC

@Kierketard It's not persecution of 13 years since these are numbers from 1939

2018-10-10 21:49:03 UTC

it's only 6 years

2018-10-10 21:49:20 UTC

and most of that began in 1942 with Wannsee

2018-10-10 21:49:33 UTC

it includes deaths from sicknesses too
