The law is not equipped to deal with every problem. "He said she said" crap clogs up the justice system

2018-10-11 13:07:34 UTC

I could practically call whatever moral answers you have as taken out of a cult

2018-10-11 13:07:40 UTC

if you are an atheist

2018-10-11 13:07:56 UTC

well the western perception of good is generally based most closely off christian morals

2018-10-11 13:07:56 UTC

because you will ultimately cherrypick whatever you personally like or dislike

2018-10-11 13:08:30 UTC

The other SCOTUS candidates had cleaner backgrounds with same ideologies as Kavanough. It didn't have to be him and it shouldn't have been him.

2018-10-11 13:08:32 UTC

couldnt the same go for an agnostic

2018-10-11 13:08:47 UTC

@squash1 Define cleaner.

2018-10-11 13:08:50 UTC

It's cute when atheists try to justify their moral beliefs on 'common sense'

2018-10-11 13:08:57 UTC

@Logical-Scholar so did the people who created said religions, but that's impossible for you to rationalize as you believe in God

2018-10-11 13:09:05 UTC

So we aren't going to get anywhere

2018-10-11 13:09:10 UTC

@Logical-Scholar well what is wrong with following what you personally believe to be the right thing?

2018-10-11 13:09:51 UTC

@Gen_Boi Hitler is an example of that actually

2018-10-11 13:10:04 UTC

He didn't stick to any Christian morality or norms

2018-10-11 13:10:16 UTC

he just wrote his own book of what is right or wrong according to him

2018-10-11 13:10:21 UTC

and gained popularity

2018-10-11 13:10:38 UTC

It's a bit like coming around and acting like your personal God

2018-10-11 13:10:39 UTC

@Logical-Scholar and people who created religion did the same

2018-10-11 13:10:41 UTC

@Logical-Scholar hitler did what he believed to be right. i don't see a problem in that

2018-10-11 13:10:58 UTC

hahah okay

2018-10-11 13:11:09 UTC

i ofcourse don't agree with his actions

2018-10-11 13:11:17 UTC

@Kierketard No one can deny that someone who can do stuff like what he did to that woman should ever be able to get to positions as high as SCOTUS

2018-10-11 13:11:19 UTC

but that doesn't make him evil to me

2018-10-11 13:11:34 UTC

I mean he was just one example

2018-10-11 13:11:48 UTC

Stalin as well he had no moral code to stick to

2018-10-11 13:11:59 UTC

The thing is if we have Christian leaders we can easily know when they lie

2018-10-11 13:12:13 UTC

for example any Democrat who claims to be Christian but protects anti-Christian laws

2018-10-11 13:12:18 UTC

like Roe V. Wade

2018-10-11 13:12:28 UTC

we know they lie about their faiths for popularity

2018-10-11 13:12:36 UTC

so we know not to trust them

2018-10-11 13:12:57 UTC

@Logical-Scholar He didn't gain popularity through his books tho

2018-10-11 13:12:59 UTC

@squash1
1. We do not know the house
2. The witnesses claimed by her refute her
3. We do not know the time
4. She's refusing to give evidence
5. etc.

2018-10-11 13:13:05 UTC

ultimately the goal humans have is achieving piece of mind. everything someone does is to achieve piece of mind. and everyone has their own way of doing it, wether it is through religion or being a hard worker

2018-10-11 13:13:23 UTC

@squash1 Have you read 'To Kill A Mockingbird?' Do you remember the lesson in the novel?

2018-10-11 13:13:25 UTC

@squash1 Not my point

2018-10-11 13:13:31 UTC

She has outright refused to give the doctor's notes without getting what she wants.

2018-10-11 13:13:49 UTC

If a Christian leader is constantly devout to his own morality it's easier to trust him in general

2018-10-11 13:14:04 UTC

than some atheist whom we have no idea how he forms his morals

2018-10-11 13:14:38 UTC

@Logical-Scholar would you trust a non religious candidate even if you would agree with his politics?

2018-10-11 13:14:55 UTC

Not easily

2018-10-11 13:15:02 UTC

I may dislike him but I can vote for him
