But it's kinda vague tbh

2018-10-19 04:55:22 UTC

he's ex-orthodox

2018-10-19 04:55:25 UTC

ppl don't like debating me on theology lol, niggas get slapped hard usually

2018-10-19 04:55:32 UTC

Say what you want about Catholicism but it's still better than atheism or lslam

2018-10-19 04:55:44 UTC

he's probably talking about actus purus and filioque since he believes in essence-energy and thinks filioque leads to pantheism

2018-10-19 04:55:51 UTC

^

2018-10-19 04:56:05 UTC

it's actually the other way around in effect

2018-10-19 04:56:35 UTC

The reason why adding fillioque was so important was because of heretics reading the creed and coming to the conclusion of pantheistic heresies

2018-10-19 04:56:35 UTC

nope, what God *does* cannot be God Himself, if we contain the Holy Spirit when we accept Jesus we effectively become a piece of God if it's His essence

2018-10-19 04:56:38 UTC

so it had to be revised

2018-10-19 04:57:15 UTC

participating in energies of God through Holy Spirit makes sense though

2018-10-19 04:57:33 UTC

@Vril-Gesellschaft God the Father and the Son have the same essence

2018-10-19 04:57:40 UTC

Well

2018-10-19 04:57:47 UTC

and if you accept the Son you're accepting the Father too

2018-10-19 04:58:00 UTC

Trinitarian gang

2018-10-19 04:58:02 UTC

Nope, it clearly says the Father created the Spirit, but the Spirit is still one with the Father along with the Son.

2018-10-19 04:58:10 UTC

if the Holy Spirit is the essence of the Father only then you're still becoming a piece of God even if it's only His essence

2018-10-19 04:58:11 UTC

Daily reminder you can slightly increase your max reps during high tide

2018-10-19 04:58:13 UTC

according to your reasoning

2018-10-19 04:58:27 UTC

What clearly says that?

2018-10-19 04:59:03 UTC

I must not have read some key comments

2018-10-19 04:59:04 UTC

@agag no because Spirit works within the world, energies imbue humans to then participate in God's grace through Son, but you do not become the Holy Spirit or anything

2018-10-19 04:59:32 UTC

@run 10 minutes lose ten pounds I just recall Jesus saying this. I don't remember which passage exactly.

2018-10-19 04:59:35 UTC

halloween is heresy

2018-10-19 04:59:53 UTC

you don't become the Holy Spirit according to Actus Purus and Filioque anyway

2018-10-19 04:59:57 UTC

My brain is shutting down

2018-10-19 05:00:04 UTC

I need to sleep

2018-10-19 05:00:23 UTC

it doesn't become the Holy Spirit in itself

2018-10-19 05:00:56 UTC

@agag but if there's no essence energy distinction then effectively the process that makes you live forever in the kingdom of God requires the Holy Spirit, which means you'd have the essence of God within you always and therefore be a part of Him

2018-10-19 05:01:02 UTC

which technically makes you a piece of God

2018-10-19 05:01:06 UTC

although not entirely

2018-10-19 05:01:13 UTC

which leads to pantheism

2018-10-19 05:01:44 UTC

maine is too diverse

2018-10-19 05:01:50 UTC

agreed

2018-10-19 05:01:55 UTC

uncreated grace, essence energy and rejection of filioque all play into it
