We can't see further due to atmosphere

The reason it looks flat is because the earth is so big that we can’t see the curve it’s so slight

The stars are not as far away as you have been told

why dont you guys just put a cubesat on a third party (not nasa like rocketlab shameless plug) and see whats up there?
