you have no proof of this
Curvature is verifiable and the radius of the earth is measurable. This isn't new stuff
Excuse me please? The Radius is NOT measureable when did you dig down into the core with 6,371km of tape measure?
Who needs a tape measure? Trigonometry and reference points.
Trigonometry that proves R is wrong or Earth isn't a ball
I mean R would have to be REDICULOUS for this to be true
For example, star declination, and obscuration agreeing on one value.
And this depends on atmospheric conditions.

The apparent and geometric positions in the sky are not the same
That is why their positions are often calculated while accounting for refraction.
And they only work on a globe
may I see the scientific experiment for the
```accounting for refraction``` please
I can dig for the method.
Ultimately, it can be based on the angular speed changing to determine values
I did a lot of digging too, turns out the paper Mick West used to derive his 7/6R is a surveyor's rule of thumb
```Spherical Symmetrical is assumed```
Circular logic 101, assume it's a globe to prove it's a globe
Nope
do you assume earth to be perfectly round
Here's the data, light curves up
or slightly round
Tru, in a sense, but it only works on a sphere anyways.
Even assuming a spherical Earth, light curves up in air
Because the circumference is calculated to match spherical geometry rather than euclidean. On a flat earth, we would have to get different results
But that's the point @Technomatrix light doesn't bend down in air around a ball, it's seen bending up towards the sky, warm air is below, cool air is above, snell's law. The refraction models DISCARD snells law
Light would have to do this
It doesn't
That would defy diffusion
it would defy lapse rate
Again, it depends on the conditions. Sometimes, it can bend over
I have witnessed extraordinary weather conditions where the light stops bending up
That laser should be under 20 meters of missing curvature
I saw direct contact with the beam
I knew that day there is evidence of apparent mostly local flatness under certain weather conditions
