You need really, really high gravity to affect it
Gravity depends on how many atoms are in a substance, ie , MASS. Now you can increase the density of an object by shrinking it down, but it will still have the same pull . Imagine the earth being shrunk down to the size of a bowling ball. Now this would make it incredibly dense.
