Maybe? If you are talking about the NY bill, the late term abortion only applies to medical reasons when the health and life of the mother is in danger, and in that case I believe that the life of the mother trumps the life of the unborn.

Im not sure you could even class that so much as an abortion anyway rather than an operation to save one life or the other. In which case one will always die. It is not a choice of death or life. Its a choice of who lives

I'm not sure what you're talking about, then, nor do I see the relevance. According to statistics, about 80% of abortions are done <13 weeks of gestation, which in my opinion is a reasonable grace period
