Instead of trying just to straight up discredit people ask questions, try and see their point of view

Whats the harm in stuff like "so if you believe the earth is flat what is the explanation for why "this" happens"

Or

"Explain how sunrise and sunset works on flat earth in your opinion"

Be curious, ask questions and you will most likely be offered the same privilege

Like why a boat out at sea can be seen over 40 miles away

Because the sea is empty and large
