How many hours a week?
like 25
i am 22, I learned the front end very quickly, 5 weeks
part time niggas really be out here
do NOT forget it
part time at 35 an hour is alright, full time would be better
Well, you start with C++, it will be grueling, hard, frustrating, and it will likely piss you off. But if you stick to it, you will have a very beneficial tool on your hand. Both for job offers, and/or otherwise. Its up to you, @zimthomas , whether or not you want to commit. You must start with C++ or you will be no better than pajeet
Be better than pajeet
Start with C++
i will btfo pajeet
you clearly have no idea what you are talking about, you cant start with C++
Yes
I do
and yes
you can
why would a novice want to f with compilers
thats the point, dummy. Trial by fire

If you dont start with it, then how are you any better than pajeet with a million turnery if statement that have O(n^2) time complexity. IT FUCKING PISSES ME OFF. I see it so much
I disagree. You need C++. there are TOO MANY so-called "programmers" that have no concept of efficiency in their head. They just pump out code and it is insecure, too compiler heavy, way too much overhead, and it just sucks. People need to learn this stuff
And html is good too, but you need efficiency
Its important
unless youre a jap with great english skills that would take you a long time compared to working your way up from front end to java and beyond. the person inquiring would get fed up with using a compiler pretty much instantly. html is quick, CSS a bit more complex, java is very complex
Well if they get fed up then I say good. I want to weed out those that are unworthy
Java is complex, but it forces you to rely on streamlined features that don't teach you important lessons about efficiency
Its the same line of thinking behind teaching assembly
Most will never ever need assembly
but learning it will really benefit you in knowing just what is going on
I feel the same way with efficiency. C++ forces you to work out more efficient ways of doing whatever task you want to do. A great example I often think of is this:
When you know, in terms of time complexity, space complexity, and time it takes to code, when to use an adjacency matrix vs an adjacency list. That is a good point to be
At that point you're pretty equipped, I'd say

Anyone else get this?
Joe, fight me
You guys have any links to liberal discord servers?
Why?
and I don't
