oops

2018-10-15 15:28:24 UTC

Do you have a job?

2018-10-15 15:28:27 UTC

ye

2018-10-15 15:28:34 UTC

Is it very time consuming?

2018-10-15 15:28:42 UTC

on days i have to work ye

2018-10-15 15:28:51 UTC

How many hours a week?

2018-10-15 15:29:18 UTC

like 25

2018-10-15 15:29:40 UTC

i am 22, I learned the front end very quickly, 5 weeks

2018-10-15 15:29:44 UTC

part time niggas really be out here

2018-10-15 15:30:02 UTC

do NOT forget it

2018-10-15 15:30:58 UTC

part time at 35 an hour is alright, full time would be better

2018-10-15 15:31:09 UTC

Well, you start with C++, it will be grueling, hard, frustrating, and it will likely piss you off. But if you stick to it, you will have a very beneficial tool on your hand. Both for job offers, and/or otherwise. Its up to you, @zimthomas , whether or not you want to commit. You must start with C++ or you will be no better than pajeet

2018-10-15 15:31:28 UTC

Be better than pajeet

2018-10-15 15:31:34 UTC

Start with C++

2018-10-15 15:31:38 UTC

i will btfo pajeet

2018-10-15 15:32:43 UTC

you clearly have no idea what you are talking about, you cant start with C++

2018-10-15 15:32:51 UTC

Yes

2018-10-15 15:32:52 UTC

I do

2018-10-15 15:32:53 UTC

and yes

2018-10-15 15:32:55 UTC

you can

2018-10-15 15:33:14 UTC

why would a novice want to f with compilers

2018-10-15 15:33:30 UTC

thats the point, dummy. Trial by fire

2018-10-15 15:34:52 UTC

If you dont start with it, then how are you any better than pajeet with a million turnery if statement that have O(n^2) time complexity. IT FUCKING PISSES ME OFF. I see it so much

learn front end html and CSS, then Java, then PHP or anything other than C++

2018-10-15 15:37:41 UTC

I disagree. You need C++. there are TOO MANY so-called "programmers" that have no concept of efficiency in their head. They just pump out code and it is insecure, too compiler heavy, way too much overhead, and it just sucks. People need to learn this stuff

2018-10-15 15:39:24 UTC

And html is good too, but you need efficiency

2018-10-15 15:39:33 UTC

Its important

2018-10-15 15:40:59 UTC

unless youre a jap with great english skills that would take you a long time compared to working your way up from front end to java and beyond. the person inquiring would get fed up with using a compiler pretty much instantly. html is quick, CSS a bit more complex, java is very complex

2018-10-15 15:41:37 UTC

Well if they get fed up then I say good. I want to weed out those that are unworthy

2018-10-15 15:42:10 UTC

Java is complex, but it forces you to rely on streamlined features that don't teach you important lessons about efficiency

2018-10-15 15:42:23 UTC

Its the same line of thinking behind teaching assembly

2018-10-15 15:42:31 UTC

Most will never ever need assembly

2018-10-15 15:42:46 UTC

but learning it will really benefit you in knowing just what is going on

2018-10-15 15:43:39 UTC

I feel the same way with efficiency. C++ forces you to work out more efficient ways of doing whatever task you want to do. A great example I often think of is this:

2018-10-15 15:44:34 UTC

When you know, in terms of time complexity, space complexity, and time it takes to code, when to use an adjacency matrix vs an adjacency list. That is a good point to be

2018-10-15 15:44:48 UTC

At that point you're pretty equipped, I'd say
