2 days a year the sun rises east for everyone on earth regardless of your location and at the moment of sunrise the sun is located at the equator is this a fact
so if you circumnavigated from new york, you would never reach the equator
yea, but sun rise is only one moment
for everyone on earth
you can not travel sunrise all day
Kek
no, hes asking a good question
most people dont even ask these questions
ok
can i freeze everything and travel to the sun east ill be at the equator
what if i could travel very fast
yes
thats a straight line. On a sphere, any straight line will cross the equator
ok so we agree if i go east from ny i end up at the equator ?
Pictures can depict things like these so much better
ok
yes, only if you start east

Freeze everything you say?
well u told me before east wouldnt take me to the equator
heres the difference:
traveling very fast is mroe realisti obviously
east takes u to the equator from any point on earth
1) You start East, and you constantly make sure you are always going East.
2) You stat East, and you make sure you are going in a straight path, never turning left or right.
you got the idea, if you could freeze time, and traveling the same direction as you saw at sunset, and you will cross the equator
So like dead reckoning vs mapping longitudinal and latitude?
yea, or just a compass
ok the sun rises at the equator east for everyone on earth i got in a straight line east toward that spot
i go in a straight line east
east is a straight line toward that spot
are u saying east isnt at the sunrise on the equator ?
idk what ur saying honeslty im sorry
give me 3 minutes
ok imma go smoke brb
420
aight
So east intersects with the equator? That makes no sense
it makes perfect sense on the globe
How?
hold on
