the flat earth seems as possible as the globe. if the globe was true at this point in time we have a functioning rover on mars close up photos of pluto we have been to the moon but we dont have undenaible proof of the globe is fishy to say the least

I'm guessing that the person in NYC is looking towards that for sunrise, which isn't east, looks southeast.
What you should do is put another red dot on "directly east" line for the person in NYC looking directly east
