How much math is there in info systems
I gotta take up to linear algebra
not a lot but data analytics is statistics heavy
Oh
just know basic algebra and you should be good for info systems
Noice
DA is booming right now though dude
What’s the salary ?
I highly recomend getting into it if you can
probably 60k starting out
but that's most jobs like that
Not bad
Engineer is 70k starting
So not surprised
any analyst salary is going to be around ther
And that’s in Ca
yea depends on the area
Ca you get a higher salary but I think it’s useless
Id rather do DA at 60 than engineering at 70 tbh lol
pretty comfortable
My dad wants me to stay in Ca but I don’t wanna spend 10 years trying to buy a shit house
While I could buy a house in 2-5 that’s bigger
In a safer state
go to like washington
still kinda close to home
but better
I was considering that but idk about the unis up there
Other then WSU which is eh
I mean 80% acceptance rate
Isn’t really super close either
18 hrs drive
And tech jobs are in shit lib cities like Seattle
nah they are all freelance my guy
Kinda wonder how my life would be different if my dad took any of the job offers out of state and country .
Seattle > Cali
He could have gone to Alabama(Huntsville ) , Germany, or Seattle.
But chose Ca
Sad!
I'm thinking about moving to Wisconsin after I graduate
