Honestly its just a shitty situation

2017-06-05 08:21:17 UTC

I agree on that part

2017-06-05 08:22:53 UTC

another big issue is that those refugee are simply parked like beasts...

2017-06-05 08:23:50 UTC

hm?

2017-06-05 08:23:50 UTC

I had some discussion with an Eritrean refugee last time. he explained to me that he was lodged and feed for free and that he couldn't do anything else and he was feeling guilty because of that.

2017-06-05 08:24:34 UTC

oh

2017-06-05 08:24:41 UTC

he can't even do volunteering or work as a part time, etc to sustain to his and his family living expense because they are "illegals"

2017-06-05 08:25:11 UTC

they have no visa because the gov is taking their long ass shit time to recognize the situation

2017-06-05 08:26:15 UTC

Give them a break

2017-06-05 08:26:22 UTC

and my country is supposed to be a pioneer in term of right of asylum

2017-06-05 08:28:13 UTC

You have to recognize that they didn't even have to take him in * WRONG

2017-06-05 08:28:19 UTC

I mean, they are illegals not because they don't have the right to be here, but because the gov is taking over 2 years to deliver them a paper to says that they are refugees

2017-06-05 08:28:47 UTC

that's the thing, we have to, it's in our constitution

2017-06-05 08:29:46 UTC

France has a long tradition of offering asylum to foreign refugees, and the right of asylum has constitutional value under French law. French asylum law is heavily based on international and European law, but is largely codified in the Code de l’entrée et du séjour des étrangers et du droit d’asile (CESEDA, Code of Entry and Residence of Foreigners and of the Right of Asylum).

2017-06-05 08:30:30 UTC

He's getting everything he needs to keep breathing right?

2017-06-05 08:30:48 UTC

but that's not what he wants

2017-06-05 08:31:09 UTC

he don't want to be a burden, he didn't move from his country to be an assisted hobo

2017-06-05 08:31:09 UTC

Then take away his food

2017-06-05 08:31:23 UTC

sorry kek

2017-06-05 08:31:45 UTC

Well he should be thankful

2017-06-05 08:32:09 UTC

yeah I know you're kidding, but the situations is really complex, and again, it's just because the administration is taking too long to do their jobs

2017-06-05 08:32:32 UTC

they are taking their sweet time to do something they have to do, because it's not important for them.

2017-06-05 08:32:40 UTC

that again, cause another conflict

2017-06-05 08:33:17 UTC

the thing is, he his thankful, he realize that we have a lot to offer for his family and children

2017-06-05 08:33:24 UTC

especially in term of educations

2017-06-05 08:33:57 UTC

I'm sure the government has alot on their plate already

2017-06-05 08:34:01 UTC

but he don't want all this for free and would rather prefer to work hard to obtain this instead of being a burden for society

2017-06-05 08:34:36 UTC

well the administration handling the CESEDA here has nothing else to do, litterally.

2017-06-05 08:35:03 UTC

they are lacking effectives, but then again, there are people that are willing to work in here and can't.

2017-06-05 08:35:13 UTC

because it's a bureaucratic mess

2017-06-05 08:35:20 UTC

I still don't see getting a free ride for a while until the government files your papers is a problem

2017-06-05 08:35:52 UTC

it's a problem when you understand that you're a freeloader and you're despised because of that.

2017-06-05 08:36:01 UTC

I like that he wants to contribute though

2017-06-05 08:36:44 UTC

Well anyways I've heard that jobs are scarce

2017-06-05 08:37:05 UTC

and at the same time, there are jobs that needs more effectives

2017-06-05 08:38:24 UTC

in many fields, agriculture, medical (especially caregiver, we recruits spanish, etc)

2017-06-05 08:38:29 UTC

and in administrations too

2017-06-05 08:39:34 UTC

it's a complex mess

2017-06-05 08:39:47 UTC

and those people didn't deserved to be treated like that

2017-06-05 08:40:35 UTC

they would much rather wait a couple of month and start to work or at least do some voluntering to contribute back
