Bought Nier Automata today

Was supposed to buy the Berserk game too but plans got a little messed up

After playing it a while, it's ok

I'm unsure what the story really is right now, so I can't comment much there

The visual quality of the world looks like something out of 2013 PS3

The gameplay is fun, but feels very button mashy. It's very simple square, triangle, and evade combos much like FFXV as opposed to Platinum's usual style seen in Bayonetta and in games similar like Devil May Cry.

Music is 👌👌👌

Difficulty is as expected for Normal mode. As long as you're not a fuckup, you should have a good time

Voice acting feels alright right now, but I've heard they arent that great on either mode apparently

the story, the OST are both really good

yeah the graphics aren't top notch but I love the style of the game, mixing classic beat'em up like many platinum games, side scrolling games, puzzles, shoot'em up

you'll need to finish the game multiple times for the story though @Homu H.

you need at least 3 playthrough (with different story element each time) to get the full grasp of the story

it might have been placeholder animation, I think Bioware is using face / motion capture for this game...

I know, I don't pay too much attention to such thing personally. People were bothered by Horizon Zero Dawn animations, not me...

but as I said, it might have been placeholder animation, aka, beta things to make it works first

it might have been replaced with better stuff since then, except for people breaking the street date release and that don't get a day one patch
